After listening to Tony Award Nominee Jeannette Bayardelle sing, one wonders if you have just had a sneak peak into the world of angels. From the Bronx to Broadway and beyond, she has traveled to over fifty countries throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, North America and the Caribbean, sharing her gift. Jeannette’s ability to communicate through the arts has been esteemed and revered. Her success has landed her in the national media spotlight with features in magazines such as Forbes and Departures, as well as appearances on CNN, Good Morning America, CBS News, The Tonight show and Watch What Happens Lives, just to name a few.
Jeannette’s passion for financial literacy in the arts inspired her to create Broadway to Wall Street. It’s an introduction to the stock market online course that incorporates music, animation and storytelling. Understanding the power of music, Jeannette knew that it would be a game changer in teaching and introducing new vocabulary and concepts to those who knew nothing about investing. Many want to be a part of the stock market conversation but don’t have the stomach or patience for the presentation. This course makes the stock market palatable, retainable and fun. The songs alone will teach and get people motivated.
Jeannette was recently nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Mrs. Neilsen in Girl From The North Country on Broadway. She also starred in the revival production of HAIR on Broadway as Dionne and in The Color Purple on Broadway as Celie. Jeannette originated the role of Celie on the First National Tour of The Color Purple where she received an NAACP award for best lead actress in a musical. Her extraordinary performances on stage lead her to work on Disney’s Princess and The Frog, Little Mermaid III Ariel’s Beginning (I WILL SING), and performing for President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. Jeannette Bayardelle is the first Broadway actress to write the book, music, and lyrics and star in her own musical entitled SHIDA.
